Deputy Viktor Tarabarin presented the City Duma awards in connection with the 134th anniversary of the founding of Moscow State University named after Admiral G.I. Nevelskoy
In his congratulations, Viktor Tarabarin noted that the university, named after the Russian admiral and Far East explorer Gennady Ivanovich Nevelskoy, honorably continues the glorious traditions of maritime education, laid down with the founding of the Alexander Naval Classes in Vladivostok in 1890, and currently remains an example of true patriotism and a symbol of naval valor and devotion to Russia, within whose walls, thanks to the efforts of the teaching staff, professional personnel are trained.
“For its part, the Vladivostok City Duma promotes initiatives aimed at forming a qualified personnel reserve for maritime transport, ports, and developing marine engineering pre-university education at the university,” emphasized Duma deputy Viktor Tarabarin.
